OJ Back In Crime News

OJ Simpson, you may have heard of him. Although one juror who was just picked to sit on his new robbery - kidnapping trial claims she has never heard of him. Anyway, he's back in the crime news with his Las Vegas trial getting started today. But it is not without the drama. One of the witnesses, Bruce Fromong, who was on the witness stand for several hours today, pointed to his chest and indicated he was not feeling well. He may have cause to worry, since Fromong has claimed to have had 4 heart attacks in the past. He sat in the hallway with a cold compress on the back of his neck and an ambulance was called but I haven't heard if he was taken away or if the trial resumed.

Crime Stoppers Prove How Tough They Are

A flower girl at the RNC convention being held this week in St. Paul, Minnesota got pepper sprayed in the face, not once but twice by some heavily armored and protected 'robo cops.' Are these riot cops crime stoppers or are they there to prevent people from protesting peacefully? It makes you wonder. The girl is in front of them but clearly is not going to do any harm to these big, bad men in black. She is simply holding out a flower in front of them and they must have took this as a sign of aggression. Hmmm...makes you wonder just how threatened they felt by this girl. I am sure they were proud of themselves for stopping such a horrible act of violence from occurring. Yeah, I feel much safer with these goons around.

Hard Economic Times May Lead To Higher Crime Rates

People losing their jobs could very well lead to more burglary's and theft. But can economic hardships turn ordinarily 'good' people into criminals or even racists?
