Internet Truth Movers - Aiming To Stop Crime?

stop crimeTheir is a growing movement on the Internet aiming to stop crime...crimes committed by large corporations and the government. What?! Infowars.com, loosechange911.com, prisonplanet.com, jonesreport.com, truthnews.us, wachadoo.com, disclosetv.com, patriotsaints.com, conspiracyplanet.com and many other web sites are debunking what we, the public, have been told about the events of 9/11. These Internet truth movers show plenty of video evidence, worldwide articles that are not censored by American media, news and information that you won't see on your television and a lot more.

Statistics say 1 in 4 Americans now believe that 9/11 was an inside job. Those beliefs are growing world wide with some high ranking Japanese officials and some British officials stating they are siding with the so called 'conspiracy theorists.' Check out some of these sites and you decide for yourself. Was it Osama bin Laden and the terrorists? Or not.

First Two Suspects Guilty In Juvenile Crime Case

juvenile crimeIn Mineola, Texas just days ago, jurors found two of the six defendants guilty in a juvenile crimes case that had taken place inside a former day care center. Children as young as 5 were given the strong prescription medicine of Vicodin, which the adults labeled "silly pills." The children were forced to 'perform' in sick sex shows for the adults. Jamie Pittman and Shauntel Mayo were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison for this sick crime. One of the defendants was a parent of 3 children involved in the case and is awaiting trial. This case has shocked the residents of the tiny town 80 miles east of Dallas and they are ready to put it all behind them as soon as possible.

Child Abuse Crime Prevention Video

CrimeStoppers recently held a conference at the Maggiano's restaurant to speak out about crime against children and crime prevention tips. In this child abuse crime prevention video, CrimeStoppers officials are working together in Houston to work with law enforcement and the media to 'catch the bad guys.' We all need to work together with CrimeStoppers and other officials to provide support and help to our children, who are the most innocent and vulnerable of humans. Anything you can do to prevent child abuse, sexual abuse and serious crime against children, don't hesitate to do it. Any small action you might take if you are suspicious about a child abuse case can save the life of one child or more and is well worth it.

Date Rape - A Growing Problem

date rapeA student is taken to the hospital because she was feeling dizzy, nauseus and ill. It was discovered she had amphetamines in her system. She doesn't remember much about the night before, just that she had been drinking in a bar or nightclub and the next thing she knew she awoke in a foggy haze and knew something was really wrong. This scenerio is all too familiar. Amphetamines and other drugs like ecstasy (which can mess with your memory, lower inhibitions and make you do things you normally wouldn't) are slipped into a persons drink and then they are taken home and raped. Date rape is a growing problem that especially young men and women need to be more aware of. Never leave your drink unattended while you are at a party or at a club and you should always stay with people you know and trust. Bring your own drinks or if you do order them make sure they are opened in front of you. Whether it is an alcohol drink, soda or water, you can never be too careful.

Young Murder Victims Shock Oklahoma Police

murder victimsTwo young girls, Taylor Dawn Paschal-Placker, 13 and Skyla Jade Whitaker, 11, were found in a ditch, shot to death, in Weleetka, OK on Monday. They were found by one of the girls grandfather only 300 yards from their home. Police believe these young murder victims were shot by someone local since the area was not a place where passersby would stop. They also believe that whoever killed these girls definitely wanted them dead. "There's obviously an issue here where the shooter wanted these girls dead, and certainly carried that to the fullest extent," said State Investigation Inspector Stan Florence. There is now a $14,000.00 dollar reward being offered for any information on this violent crime.

Small Ideas To Stop Crime

ideas to stop crimeHere are a few small but potentially very effective, ideas to stop crime. Have you ever avoided somebody because of the way they looked? Maybe you thought they were 'bad' because of the way they dressed or walked or talked? A simple smile, a friendly nod, a wave or a handshake could turn somebody you thought was dangerous into somebody very friendly. Respecting somebody can actually make them think twice about a dirty deed they were thinking of commiting. Yeah, it may sound naive and won't work on the most hardened of people but with many it will. You can't always judge a book by its cover so don't even try because some of the most evil people have been very 'nice' looking and some truly decent people have been known to be a little 'rough around the edges'.

"I Have A Dream" Inspires Child On How To Stop Crime

how to stop crimeTia Naedoo, 10, of Phoenix wrote a speech describing a Utopian world where children were free of rape, hijacking, murder and robbery. She was inspired by Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream speech. In her speech she wrote, "I have a dream, a dream of love, a dream of peace, a dream that could be a reality. I dream in a world of a crime-free society." Her ideas on how to stop crime were her main focus on informing the police that their priority should be to help young people be free of crime. She did a good job doing it too as she won top honors in the speech competition at the Lenham Primary school.

CSI Shows Spell Trouble For Those Trying To Stop Crime

stop crimeThose super sleuths on the fantasy TV CSI shows are causing all sorts of trouble for real life detectives. Real life crime fighters trying to solve and stop crime face serious pressure to 'get the case solved' just like they do on television. Some are even calling this the "CSI effect" with all the attention the shows have drawn to murder and crime investigations. While the pressure is on for law enforcement to solve crimes fast, there is one up side to all of this, the fact that enrollment in colleges is way up in crime lab classes with one college boasting 400 undergraduate students last year compared with just 4 in 1999.
